Party in a Pitcher

Finding your perfect wine may take a while, but I could bet money that you will never go wrong with Sangria. Sangria is indeed a party in a pitcher. It's your go-to drink if you're having dinner out, having a wedding reception (or hosting any type of party), and also relaxing on any Spring or Summer day (there's also Fall & Winter inspired Sangria's) on your outside deck.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Sangria, it is a wine punch that consist of wine, chopped fruit, liquor and lots of yumminess. It's overall refreshing and guaranteed to have you going back for more.

What I love most about Sangria is that you cannot go wrong with it. There's no errors you could make when making Sangria. Basically, anything will work. I love the fact that there are a million recipes and flavors that you can experiment with. The options are endless.

TO MAKE YOUR OWN SANGRIA

-1/2 cup of liquor: Brandy's usually works great with Sangria.

-1/2 cup juice: Orange, Lime (all optional)

-A mixer: 1 to 2 cups of lime flavored soda, juice, etc.

-Extra sweetener if desired.

Instructions:

Cut the fruit; leaving on the skins of apples & oranges.Add fruits to clear pitcher.Add Brandy.Add wine.Juice (optional)Stir, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or longer.Add mixer before serving and mix well.Top with desired garnishments.Sip and Enjoy.Go back for more!!

Itoja's Tip: Did you know that you could buy bottled Sangria? I served this at my wedding. All I added was fresh fruit (you could also add Brandy if you wanted to turn it up yet another notch but it already spiked). No one knew the difference!

You could totally hate wine but fall deeply in love with Sangria. I challenge you to make your own Sangria; google a quick and easy recipe, or buy it. You won't go wrong, either way.
